Shen Yugong won her 3rd Paralympic Gold Medal in Sitting Volleyball (in a row) at London 2012 and has been the one of the sports best attackers for over a decade.

‘I was born without a left femur, so without half of my left leg. I always practiced sports, at the beginning I was playing football and later became interested in volleyball. I’ve played Sitting Volleyball for two years after I found the Polish National Team Coach.
Sitting volleyball is a fantastic game, which allows people with disabilities to fulfill their sporting dreams and actively to rehabilitate.'
'Currently I play in sitting volleyball in Start Wroclaw and we had the second place in Polish National Championships two times (2011 and 2012). I was also in the Polish National team which competed at the 2011 European Championships in the Netherlands were we took 6th place.'
