‘I started playing sitting volleyball in 2008 at the same time, I started studying law at University of Wroclaw. Before my condition was diagnosed, I had played tennis and I had been a very active child enjoying all sports.
I got sick at the age of 8 and it felt like I wouldn't be able to enjoy sports anymore as my left leg ended up being considerably shorter and has a lot less power and strength. In fact, until I heard about sitting volleyball, I believed that that I would never have the possibility to participate and engage in sports ever again.
Now I play for the Polish National Team!'
'Sitting volleyball is an amazing sport. For me the best aspect of it is the complete integration between disabled and not disabled people, because everybody can play sitting volleyball at club level.
Since I have found this new passion, I have met wonderful people from different places around the world. Now I can't imagine my life without sitting volleyball and I try to promote this discipline actively through 'Siatkowka NA Siedzaco'. I want to give other people a chance to participate in sports again, and to learn what a great sport Sitting Volleyball is.’
