'I started playing Sitting Volleyball in 2009 and before I got my injuries I played Beach Volleyball in Ukraine. My coach and I studied together at University and he told me about Sitting Volleyball. When I first played I thought that the ball moves very quickly, much quicker than in Beach Volleyball! At the top end, they really are completely different sports, but playing Beach Volleyball in the past has definitely helped me with the techniques.'
'London 2012 was amazing, the organization was perfect, the people were lovely and the city is so beautiful. It will stay in the front of my memory for a long time. I can really remember the semi final with America and of course the Bronze Medal against The Netherlands. I love to play and want to play as long as possible and hope to one day win a gold medal.’
