'I started sitting volleyball without any knowledge of volleyball. I was looking for a sport that wasn’t played in a wheelchair and liked the fact that it was a team sport that I could play without my prosthetic on. A consultant at a rehabilitation center actually brought sitting volleyball to my attention 12 years ago. It was love at first sight, all of a sudden I was one of the fastest on court, which has never happened to me before! In the beginning it is a very difficult sport, largely because of the technical aspects, but once you get the hang of it, it is the best sport there is and twelve years later I don't want to quit playing. It's fast, technical, the people around the sport are great and it can be played at the highest level! I have been to two Paralympic Games: Beijing and London. Both were amazing! In Beijing we managed to win the Bronze medal and now winning a medal in Rio 2016 with the team is my ultimate dream.'
