'I have lived my life with a congenital birth defect on my feet and have had numerous operations that have helped me live my life. At 10 years old, I started playing table tennis and actually played in the national team of Yugoslavia. Later in my sports career I found Sitting Volleyball when someone asked me if I wanted to try it whilst at a multi sports camp.
I started practicing properly in 1994 and then represented Slovenia at the European Championship in Slovenia in 1995. Since this time I have won 3 European championships with the Slovenian team and really enjoyed this period when we were the Number 1 team in Europe.'
'I have always liked team sports and I am so happy that for so much of my sporting career I have had Sitting Volleyball.'
