‘I started playing volleyball when I started primary school. I loved the sport from an early childhood. When I started secondary school I met on my way sitting volleyball coach Massadva.
I was stopped as I walked down the street and we talked about sitting volleyball. I was 13 years old but had never heard of the sport. I went to the first training session and I saw what it looked like, I felt great. I had not had a chance to play with people with disabilities before. I decided to join the team and start my adventure in sitting volleyball. I spent all my attention with this discipline and after a while I became a key player for the club, so I joined the Egyptian National Team.
Since that time, I have participated in many major tournaments such as the Continental Championships and the Paralympic Games. I hope that I will continue my passion for volleyball for the rest of my life.’
