Shen Yugong won her 3rd Paralympic Gold Medal in Sitting Volleyball (in a row) at London 2012 and has been the one of the sports best attackers for over a decade.

'I first found out of sitting volleyball through my high school standing coach when he was contacted from the Canadian Sitting Volleyball Program when I was 15. I decided to go and try the sport when I was 16. After my first training camp I fell in love with the sport. I was born without my femur bone in my right leg which made standing volleyball a difficult sport to play at a high level. Sitting volleyball has given me the chance to represent my country proudly, meet so many amazing people all while playing the sport I love.'
